Riding Lessons

At the beach, having a terrific day!

The Adaptive Riding Institute, provides riding lessons and pleasure riding for people with disabilities inside a covered arena at our Scotts Mills, Oregon facility from October through May of each year. These skill building sessions help riders develop the skills needed to ride independently in outdoor and wilderness settings. Family members and Significant Others are invited to participate in winter riding lessons as time allows.

The goal of these sessions is to prepare for summer riding adventures by, training the rider's mind, body, and horse to work in harmony, develop and perfect any adaptive equipment needed by the rider, and keep horses and riders physically and mentally fit.
