Jasmo our miniature horse was donated to ARI in 1990 and has not only been a mascot, but is used in Equine Assisted Personal Development; is a registered visitation animal (schools, hospitals, and care facilities); is a great square dancer; and delights children with his many tricks.

Raven is a Mustang mare foaled in 2005 and adopted in 2006 by ARI staff. Raven loves attention from all people, and is very patient, and will begin working with clients in the spring of 2011. Her broad back and stocky build will help many riders with balance issues.

Rainman came to ARI in December joining his good friend Nupur as a therapy horse. Rainman is 13h and spent his life as a trail horse enjoying the mountains and scenic vistas of Oregon. He is a steady boy, with a good work ethic and soft and easy gaits making him a great mount to the tiny tots with limited balance or those wishing to take a ride on the sensory trial.

Onion is a mustang mare that stands only 12’3 and is from the Murderer’s Creek herd (John Day area). It took 11 weeks for her to allow a human to touch her, but her trust has been steady from that day forward. Onion is one of the favorite little horses here at ARI as she has a bouncy forward walk, and her cute little ears are always looking "around the bend". Onion is social, vocal and also a wonderful driving pony. Onion has belonged to a staff member of ARI and has been part of the herd for 9 years.

Maximus joined our elite herd of therapy horses in December of 2012 as a 5 yr. old. He took to his new job at once and has quickly become the horse everyone wants to see first. He stands 15.3h and is playful with the herd, but respectful with the humans in his life.
