Adaptive Riding Institute is staffed almost entirely by volunteers. Our volunteers are some of the finest, most dedicated people in this part of the country and we welcome your interest in joining their ranks.

If you take pleasure in hiking, making new friends, enjoy changing lives of people with disabilities, like working with animals, or if you are a horse addict, YOU are needed.

Volunteers perform many vital activities at Adaptive Riding Institute.  Below is just a small list of the types of jobs available:

• Office Helper (phone calls etc.)
• Direct Client Assistant
• Fundraising
• Special Events
• Horse Handling
• Communication (Newsletter, Etc.)

This list is by no means complete but will give you an idea of our most common needs. If you have a talent or special interest not listed above that you would like to share please let us know. There are many ways to get involved with Adaptive Riding Institute. We hope you'll join us.

All volunteers are encouraged to complete first aid training and C.P.R.
